Weeds

I have a large bush that grows in my front garden and over time it had got too

big to reduce it down so I asked a gardener to cut it and he quoted me £120 !!

I thought that seemed excessive so decided I would cut it down myself.

Once I got going I realised it had grown so much that lots of weeds and

‘stingers’ had grown in, around and within it to the point that it was blocking

out my light but also affecting this plant’s ability to grow.

To cut this down was no mean feat but after a while I started to enjoy it a little

and ‘liberating this bush’ from these weeds felt hugely satisfying.

I suddenly realised this bush was a reflection of my life, if you keep ignoring

the weeds (or in life the negative energy/people) then this negative energy

can grow and affects your own emotional and/or spiritual growth, I literally

‘couldn’t see the wood for the trees’ or in this case ‘the bush from the weeds’.

Finally after 2 attempts and around 4 hours later with scratches on my pale

skin but feeling proud of myself, this bush was reduced to a decent size and I

felt liberated and free, I gave thanks to the bush and the weeds for reminding

me of this lesson, just as in life I would give thanks to the person or situation.

For a long time I’ve noticed how our surroundings can represent area’s of our

lives and I regularly cleanse my home with sage, chanting and the violet flame

to clear the energy but I’d never even thought about my garden before, how

interesting that nature can teach us such deep and profound things.

Some weeks passed and more rain meant this bush grew quickly but

healthily, not jeopardised by these harsh, sharp intertwining weeds, this time it

grew strong and proud, not afraid to reach towards the light as nothing was

holding it down.

So with this in mind be aware of your own surroundings and garden and are

they a reflection of your life, spend some time connecting to the energies or

simply noticing from a different perspective of ‘how does your garden grow’

just like the old nursery rhyme, yes you plant what you sow but also it is vital

to cleanse and clear.

What people or places are holding you back? maybe some are sharp with

their words and actions or make you feel uncomfortable, others are clingy and

tight to the point where you feel unable to breathe, we are not blaming others

as often they are not aware they are doing this, but maybe spend some

reflective time on who is holding you back?

And then cleanse yourself with healing, music, dancing, avoiding or removing

these obstacles so you can stand tall, face the sun and shine your beautiful

light, to truly be yourself…how liberating would that be?

In Love, Light and Angelic Blessings
